Awesome Japanese Bike Parking
Written by Boston Biker on Aug 22Thanks David for sending this in:
I could see this working pretty well, but damn thats a lot of money for some bike parking. One of the benefits of bike infrastructure is that it is usually much (much) less expensive. But if you were to achieve enough riders, and needed to put all them bikes someplace this style of system might become feasible here at some point.

Rapha Charity Ride For Japan At Ride Studio Cafe
Written by Boston Biker on Mar 17This Sunday, March 20 at 10:00 am
Join the Ride Studio Cafe in a local Rapha ride as part of a series of worldwide charity rides to help the victims of recent disasters in Japan. For the Studio’s part, we’re leading a ride from the store.
Rapha asks that you make a minimum donation of $10 to ride with us. Rapha will match your donation. The Studio will also match your donation. Your $10 raises $30. If you’d like the Studio to match your donation, please bring your donation to the Studio on Sunday.
We have a cue sheet so no one will get lost. We also have a sweeper so everyone will be able to make it back home no matter what.
It is going to be a beautifully routed ride; you won’t want to miss it.
After the ride we’ll post a ride report–for those that live vicariously–and list everyone that donated. Help represent New England in this charity for Tohoku!
Please RSVP.
