Check out these awesome lanes! Parked cars on the outside, nice buffer zone, that fresh zing of new thermo plastic. More of these please.

Just curious as to what the fine is (if any) for all the whole-asses who will inevitably drive or park in this wonderful bike zone. Anyone know?

What is the location of these buffered lanes? Also I spy a nice hashed out area that’s begging for giant car-blocking planters full of flowers.
Winnie, the parking fine is $35 as of May 20. More info here: http://www2.cambridgema.gov/traffic/bikeviolation.cfm
But I guess a motor vehicle “traveling” in a bike lane would be $100? http://www.cambridgema.gov/cdd/transportation/design/bicycling/bicyclelanes.aspx

I moved out of Cambridge/Massachusetts a number of years ago, but I have some questions:
Where are these lanes?
(Is there more than one installed or planned)?
Do bicyclists have to stop at intersections to avoid motorists turning right?
Do the parked cars limit (right turning) motorists’ view of bicyclists?
Do bicyclists have to stop/make 2 stage left turns since they are no longer in position to use regular turn or traffic lanes?
I’m curious to see it the next time I’m in Mass.
