Trouble With Scheduled Posts

Written by Boston Biker on Mar 23

If you are having trouble getting posts you schedule to post in the future (if you didn’t know you could do this check out the little box to the right of your post screen), let me know and I will add a little bit of code to your site (hopefully to fix it).

If you are not having trouble with this, continue on with your day, happy Wednesday.

Computer Bike Geeks: Job Opening

Written by Boston Biker on Apr 04

Found this on the internwebs earlier, seem Community Bikes is looking to hire a web geek to help them out, good shop, if you got the skills give it a go.

——

Community Bicycle Supply in Boston’s South End is looking to update the look of our website (www.communitybicycle.com/). We have a site and server space already, and have been online for over 10 years, but the site needs a major redesign, as it was last redesigned five years ago. We are in the preliminary stages of planning for this, but we do have an idea of what kind of image we’d like to present (family-owned and operated, over 25 years in business, etc.., wide selection of bikes from entry level to very high end products, expert service, etc etc..) We do NOT need an E-commerce site.

Obviously we haven’t had to do this for a while, so we’re a little unsure about how the process should work exactly, but basically if you have previous web design work please email us a portfolio and we can then get in touch to discuss this project with you further. We could possibly also use a new logo. Oh, and photo’s of the shop exterior and interior. Compensation TBA, as mentioned we are in the early stages of considering this, but we know having positive web presence/image is important and we understand that high quality work comes with a price (we’re a bike service shop, after all)

contact them through the craigslist entry www.boston.craigslist.org/gbs/cpg/1107845738.html

Made these lovely RTJ fist and gun pin set. Hand carved in wax, and then cast in lead free pewter.  Because these are made by hand you can do fun things like add an extra small pin so that they sit just so (also means they have “customized” brass back plates to accommodate the extra […]
