I Will Be At The Bike Craft Fair May 3rd Brooklyn Boulders In Somerville
Written by Boston Biker on Apr 30Some of you may know that I occasionally dabble in metal working (see here and here and here, as well as on the right hand side of the page). Well I am going to actually go out into the real world, put my shingle out and see if folks like my stuff up close. I will be attending a bike craft fair at Brooklyn Boulders Saturday May 3rd from 11am-2pm, 12A Tyler Street Somerville. Stop by and buy my stuff! It is my understanding you will have to buy a day pass to see the bike craft fair, but for 19$ you also get a day of rock climbing including gear rental!
Here are some of the things I will have on sale.
and more!
More info below 🙂

Bay State Bike Month Has Begun!
Written by Boston Biker on May 06And the events are already pouring in.
From Dotbike:
Sunday May 12th Join JP Bikes for their annual Spring Roll 10 a.m. bike decorating and rodeo, 11 a.m. bike ride/parade
The South Street Mall and tennis courts, at Carolina and South St in JP. Meet up at 10 am for bike decorating and refreshments. We’ll then do a slow, festive bike parade around JP at 11 am.
New this year: the Boston Bikes Community Cycling Program has offered to run a “bike rodeo” at this year’s Spring Roll. Get here on time with your kids and have them participate before the parade rolls out at 11:00.
Friday May 17th Boston Bike Friday – join the Dorchester Convoy to City Hall Plaza
Meet in Peabody Square in front of Ashmont Cycles for a 7:00 a.m. departure. Or meet us along Dorchester Ave and join in along the way. We’ll ride up to City Hall Plaza for a free breakfast and bike festival. Registration for this free event is encouraged as it helps the city determine the level of cycling interest in our neighborhood. You can register here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/
There will be many more events associated with Bike Month and tons during Bike week. You can find events near you and more info here: http://baystatebikeweek.
