Washington Street Bike Lane Part 2
Written by Boston Biker on Sep 11As promised, here are some pictures of the new bike lane on Washington street.
The start
Here you can see the new markers
What this, could a bunch of idiots be parked in a lane reserved for bus/bike traffic?
Why yes they could, when this guy saw me coming with my camera he ran away, exposing…
A big USPS truck! Clearly blocking both bike and bus traffic (if anyone is feeling mean report that number)
Another shot of the new markings
Also what the fuck is going on here? I pity the fool that has to interpret these markings at a later date.
This mess extends all over downtown

Those crazy markings are all over the city, I saw them the other day on Broadway in Southie, could the be some sort of place-mark for future bike lane markings?

Those markings in your photos are digsafe marks for the reconstruction of Broad Street as part of the long awaited Crossroads Initiative. No bike lane slated for Broad St, though, as far as I can tell.
