New Mobile Site Feature
Written by Boston Biker on Jan 26Just added the ability to optimize your site for mobile users, you should find the settings in the settings menu (its the wptouch one), its a little tricky, but if you just take a while to read it should be fine. If you don’t care about optimizing your site for mobile, you can ignore this. If you now go to bostonbiker.org using your smart phone you will see a much different experience.
Snazzy, as always let me know if this breaks anything for you.

Facebook/Twitter Integration
Written by Boston Biker on Jul 01All blogs now have Facebook and Twitter sharing buttons, you can turn them off in the settings pages if you hate them. You can also fiddle with how they look and how they are displayed.
Let me know if there are any problems.

RSS Feeds And You
Written by Boston Biker on Jun 28Got a question in the email about RSS feeds, thought I would just throw this up here in case anyone wants to know. If you don’t know what an RSS feed is, or you don’t care what an RSS feed is, you can ignore this post.
Comments:
You can get a feed of all comments for all posts by subscribing here
Or you can get individual posts comment feeds like this
bostonbiker.org/post-name/feed
so for example
http://bostonbiker.org/2011/06/27/black-falcon-crit/feed/
Posts:
You can get an RSS feed of all front page posts, the front page is a little wacky with its feeds so it uses some non-standard formats, these will only work for the front page.
http://feeds.feedburner.com/BostonBiker
If you want the feed for a hosted blogs posts you would use
blogname.bostonbiker.org/feed
Sitewide Feed:
if you want a feed of every post on every blog you can subscribe here
http://tags.bostonbiker.org/feed/
Categories and tags:
If you want to subscribe to just a certain category, or just a certain tag.
http://bostonbiker.org/category/categoryname/feed
http://bostonbiker.org/tag/tagname/feed
Authors:
Just want to read one author from a multi-author blog?
http://bostonbiker.org/author/authorname/feed/
Search:
Search results can also have their own feed. Here is the format:
http://bostonbiker.org/?s=searchterm&feed=rss2
Other:
For any blog in the system you can use any of the above feeds (except the noted odd ball ones), just switch bostonbiker.org, to blogname.bostonbiker.org

Trouble With Scheduled Posts
Written by Boston Biker on Mar 23If you are having trouble getting posts you schedule to post in the future (if you didn’t know you could do this check out the little box to the right of your post screen), let me know and I will add a little bit of code to your site (hopefully to fix it).
If you are not having trouble with this, continue on with your day, happy Wednesday.

Site Update
Written by Boston Biker on Mar 04I updated the code base today, you will find that the whole works are slightly faster, you will also notice that you have a new admin bar at the top of your screen when you are logged in, this should allow you to do a whole lot more without signing into the backend of your site.
As always with an update I usually foolishly forget to do something, or mess something up, so please do let me know if you find any errors.
