Come celebrate Newton’s first annual Walk Bike Week, Friday, Sept. 28 – Wednesday, Oct. 3, and discover all the ways that Newton can be walked or biked, and see how we can improve our shared spaces, making Newton even more livable.
The week, starting with a rewarding commute to work on Friday for all who walk, bike or ride the T, and ending with International Walk to School Day involves dozens of community groups, many of Newton’s most walkable neighborhoods, and hundreds of volunteer hours.
There are charity events, street openings, scenic walks, and even a bicycle repair workshop. All are free and open to all.
