Coast of Hope Bike Ride

COAST of HOPE Bike Ride: 8am, Saturday, June 16 (Father’s Day Weekend): rain or shine. Routes include a metric century (100km/62mi) that goes through North Shore communities: Ipswich, South Hamilton, Topsfield, Boxford, Groveland, West Newbury, Newbury, and Rowley. Also features half-metric century (50km/31mi) and family-distance routes. Cyclists can pre-register online at www.COASTofHOPE.org. Same-day registration opens 7:15am, and the event begins promptly at 8am. Non-refundable $45 event registration fee ($25 for students), and cyclists are asked to make tax-deductible donations or seek sponsors (suggested fundraising amount of $95/rider). Event kicks off with annual paper crane drop with General Sutton ladder truck and ends with massages by Pax Massage and after-ride celebration hosted by Stone Soup with Ipswich Ale beer and soda. Donations benefit children and families supported by Bright Happy Power; people living with cancer and life-threatening challenges (cystic fibrosis, MS, and diabetes).
