Its Thermoplastic Season: New Sharrows On Columbus, Lines Going Down In Seaport
Written by Boston Biker on Apr 30
I saw some new sharrows on columbus on the way heading downtown today, and the seaport area looks like its getting new sharrows and bike lanes. I have also heard that Hubway is going to have some stations in the “innovation” district. Anyone else spot any new thermoplastic, or the markings indicating that more is on its way?

The City has been busy over the weekend! Sharrows have been repainted on Columbus Ave between Dartmouth St and Clarendon. Bike lanes and sharrows have been added/tweaked on Milk St between Washington St and Congress St. Buffered bike lane has been installed on Congress St from Water St southbound (not sure how far it goes).

Ugh, more sharrows in the door zone…the whole point of sharrows is to get people OUT of the door zone and get them riding further out in the street.
