Volunteer For Bike Week Convoys

Hello Bike Week/Bike Friday Convoy Leaders,
First, thank you for volunteering for Boston’s Bike Week and Bike Fridays. We are so grateful to all the folks that come out to help at all of our Boston Bikes events. What a great community!!
As you hopefully already know, Bike Week is less than a month away. We are so excited to kick off our convoy rides for 2011 on Friday, May 20 and would love to have your help with our great morning of commuter convoys, free breakfast, and general festivities at City Hall Plaza.
We’d love it for all of our experienced Dot-biking volunteers to come out and join the ride Friday, May 20. Meet up between 6:30am-6:45am at Peabody Square and cruise into town from there.
Please RSVP to [email protected] as soon as possible to confirm that you are willing and able to lead a convoy on Friday morning, May 20th.
We will be hosting our convoy leader volunteer trainings on the following days, so please list which one you will be attending in your RSVP:
May 5, 6pm
May 10, 12pm (conference call only),
May 11, 6pm
May 18, 6pm
All of these will be in-person AND conference calls, so feel free to stop by City Hall (room TBD) or just call in (number TBD). We do ask that everyone attend a refresher training, even if you have volunteered in the past. Thanks!
