Testing New Forum Code
Written by Boston Biker on Sep 23So I have been trying to tweak some stuff on the forums, if anyone wanted to go over there and discuss some bike related things then pop back over here and tell me how it went (if it worked, if everything updated like you thought it would etc). That would be great.
You may need to clear your cookies and re-login as some people have been seeing errors. I await your report.

Tags And Categories
Written by Boston Biker on Jan 17So you might notice at the bottom of every post that there is a little bar labeled “Tags.” Tags are your friend, they will make you ride faster, and will keep your pants out of your chain. Well maybe not but they can help you organize your posts. For instance, say you had a sweet ride out to Walden Pond, and you want to share the details with everyone you might tag the post “sweet ride, Walden pond,” then when people visit the tag cloud they can find posts about “sweet rides” and “Walden pond.” Cool right! Be sure to tag every post with useful and meaningful words.
But “what about Categories?” you might be asking. Well categories are for things you want to write about all the time. They can be found just to the right of the write box. For instance I have one category called “video” I categorize all posts that have videos in the with that category (I am a complicated individual). Then people visiting my blog can check out my posts by category, checking out just the video posts if they are into that sort of thing.
