We’re organizing a flashmob ride around Boston for an event that’s coming up pretty soon. And I thought I could find some people in bicycling that are also from the Boston area…
It will be for a promotion for an unnamed film, we’ll get you more details as the day approaches. Riders will get a free t-shirt and we’re in the works for more free stuff. If you don’t have your own set o’ wheels, we can provide you a bike for the time being.
The ride is **April 8th** during the late(ish) afternoon
We will be meeting at an undisclosed location and ending at Fenway Park (perfect for opening day).
If you’re down, send the following info to [email protected] :

Regardless if you ride with us or not, look out for the flashmob. We will be running a contest for best submitted video/picture of us for a FREE tuneup & more.

Support The Major Taylor Association, “Bicycle Dreams” Film Screening In Worcester
Written by Boston Biker on Oct 22If you are out in Worcester next month, be sure to stop by and support the Major Taylor association, they do good work.
—————————-
Landry’s Bicycles presents the film “Bicycle Dreams,” the true story of the Race Across America, at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, in Razzo Hall, 92 Downing St., Clark University, Worcester. The award-winning documentary film by Stephen Auerbach, exploring how and why endurance athletes push their limits, goes beyond cycling and celebrates the human spirit.
Q&A with RAAM rider Patrick Autissier of Boston, one of the riders featured in the film, will follow the screening. Autissier was the first Frenchman to enter the Race Across America and has crossed the finish line both as a solo competitor and a team entrant. In his rookie year in the race, Autissier approached the physical, mental and emotional challenges differently than his competitors, resulting in the compelling drama of “Bicycle Dreams.”
Tickets are $7.50 online, $10 at the door. Proceeds benefit the nonprofit Major Taylor Association.
