One Woman’s Tale Of Commuting To Work
Written by Boston Biker on Aug 31What do you do when you work in the seaport district, and you have been illegally parking your car in someone else’s lot to avoid the prohibitively high parking fees and get caught? If you are like this sassy lady from Hingham you throw your middle fingers up in the air, scream “FUCK IT!” and start riding your bike 20+ miles through some of the worst streets this area has to offer.
I’ve been parking illegally in some other businesses’ lot for the last 8 months and I came out of work to find a note saying if I park there again I “will be towed.” Bummer, they caught up to me. It was a good run but now onto Plan B – Bike Ride
I used to live right smack along her daily commute, and I can tell you parts of it are the worst place you would ever want to ride a bike. Hats off to this lady for braving what are not bike friendly streets. Check out her website, its sassy and funny in a very Boston kind of way.
