New Forums: Quick Use Them Now Before The New Forum Smell Wears Off
Written by Boston Biker on Apr 11Over the last couple days I have realized that the comments section is just not robust enough to have the kind of discussion the readers of the site seem to be demanding. Therefor I have launched the BostonBiker.org Forums. Astute readers may have noticed the little forum link at the top of the page for the last couple of days, I have left it up there so that I could test the resilience of the forums to spam, and other nasty stuff. It seems to have held up so I am opening the gates to all of you.
If you already have a blog on the site, or already have signed up for a user name you will have an account on the forum, otherwise you can just sign up on the forum home page for an account to partake in the discussion.
Let me know if there are any problems. Also let me know in the suggestions forum if you want more forum topics.
I would hope that we could take some of the long running discussions and move them to the forum, really hash them out and see what comes of it. I hope that this can become a valuable place for people to share information, as well as to discuss things that are hard to work out in comment sections.
