Bike Collections Transition |
|
Our longtime Bike Donations Coordinator Stephen Bosco is stepping down from his staff role after 16 years. Stephen has built up BNB’s Bike Collections Program from 1,100 bikes in 2000, to our current level of 6,000 bikes per year. Stephen has been an outstanding volunteer staff member, donating an amazing amount of his time, energy and skills to BNB!
Bike-A-Thon team member Eric Mearns is taking over Bike Donations and is quickly becoming a familiar face at Thursday Volunteer Nights and Bike Drives. Eric has been working with BNB for three years in a number of positions and we’re excited to bring him on full-time! Thank you Stephen and Eric! |

Volunteer of the Month – Brian Sway |
|
Brian Sway has been preparing gourmet salads, soups, and entrees for the Bike-A-Thon for the past 23 years and it is his commitment each year that makes the event a success! Brian spends over 30 hours in the kitchen with volunteers the week before the event. He uses his iron chef skills and donated veggies from Vangaurden Farms to make the most delicious food ever. His specialties include arugula pesto, pickled beets, and marinated bok choy. Thank you so much Brian!
