A Funny Thing Happened On My Way To Deleting The Forums
Written by Boston Biker on Dec 27Does anyone use the forums anymore? If so I will keep them, if not, I think they might go during some new years cleaning I am going to be doing soon?

I don’t – I used to, and participation really dropped off. Maybe a Facebook group might be in order? Then, if it’s not used, you don’t need to worry about it.

I use them sometimes, but the spam is really annoying and makes it hard to know if there’s anything new. It’s nice to have somewhere to post occassionally for things that don’t merit a blog.
You could simplify and get rid of all but one or two. I’d be willing to help clean out spam if that’s something you can delegate.

There’s been very little but spam for quite a while. I don’t even bother looking at the forums any more. Delete!

Even though I’ve been coming here for years, I did not even know that you had forums. Or, if I once did know that, I’ve long forgotten.
If you want more people to use the forums, you’ll need to give them more prominent placement on your front page. Otherwise, kill them.
