PumpTire is looking for a marketing professional to join an ambitious team for the summer. This is an entry level position that requires the individual to be creative and achieve goals through online marketing and network building using Facebook, Twitter and other social network tools. The engagement will last approximately 10 weeks. The first 5 weeks of the project will be dedicated to achieving Facebook networking goals. The second 5 weeks of the project will focus on achieving pre-sales goals of PumpTire’s first products through www.kickstarter.com. This is an ideal position for a motivated person to gain marketing experience with a very innovative company and product. Due to the newness of social networks, candidates of all experience levels and functional areas are encouraged to apply. Expected commitment is 20 hours/weeks.

This is a temporary position, however, there is also a very real opportunity for someone to bust their hump and join the PumpTire team on a permanent basis with the successful completion of the campaign. Expected compensation is $2,000-$7,500 based upon individual performance and successful completion of the Kickstarter campaign.

PumpTire is commercializing the first self-pressurizing bicycle tire. Imagine taking your bicycle out of the garage and never having to fill up the tires or even check the pressure. Or imagine yourself being able to change your tire pressure on-the-fly with a simple adjustment from the handlebars. PumpTire is developing both of these systems. COMPENSATION

Compensation is $2,000 base, plus additional bonus up to an additional $5,500 based upon Kickstarter.com success. Candidates must complete the following goals to qualify for base commission:

• Generate and pursue +20 media contacts to online magazines, blogs, etc. resulting in at least 10 mentions, articles or other online promotion of PumpTire.
• Get 200 Facebook likes
• Get PumpTire introduction email posted to 20 cycling clubs’ member distribution
