Attention Greenway Riders.
DCR RESURFACING PORTION OF NEPONSET RIVER GREENWAY
Path will be closed temporarily between Butler Street and Granite Avenue
WHAT: The Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will be resurfacing a section of the Neponset River Greenway. During the work, the section of pathway between Butler Street and Granite Avenue in Dorchester will be closed for three days. Bicyclists, pedestrians, and other pathway users are asked to find alternate routes.
For cyclists traveling westbound (toward Milton), a recommended detour would be to turn right onto Granite Street from the Greenway, then left onto Milton Street, left on Adams Street, left onto Butler, and back onto the Greenway at the Butler T Station. For those traveling eastbound (toward Dorchester), turn left onto Butler Street, right on Adams Street, right on Gallivan Boulevard, and right onto Granite Avenue to the Greenway.
