It concerns me that it is in the 80’s in April, it makes me wonder what it will be like in August. I suggest we all ride our bikes more. Fight global warming, make Al Gore proud of you.
It would seem some crazy has let this heat get to them, stringing up zip-tie booby traps for cyclists in Framingham.
It may have been meant as a prank, but a Framingham police officer says plastic zip ties strung together across a busy street was a “murder waiting to happen.”
The thick ties were discovered three times this week on Grove Street and removed by police before anyone was hurt. Lieutenant Paul Shastany says the ties were 4 to 5 feet above the ground, or about neck level for a bicyclist or motorcyclist. (via)
