Global Warming Rally: Cycle Over To Reduce Your CO2 Emissions
Written by Boston Biker on Jun 23I know a lot of us ride our bikes to save the environment, for those of you who are green at heart check this out. I got this in my email today.
Hi Everyone,
I hope everyone is doing well. We want to invite you to an important Boston climate event.
On Wednesday, July 2nd, a group of MA based climate change groups are organizing a gathering of citizens to support energy independence. It will be held on the Boston Common, next to the State House, between 12 – 2 PM. The goal is to create a call to action for our state leaders. We want them to take a stance against dirty fossil fuels, and make a commitment to reducing our carbon emissions, by passing a Massachusetts Global Warming bill that can bring us to an 80% reductions in GHG emissions by 2050. This event will have networking, speakers, and then a call to action — including an opportunity to visit your elected officials in the State House.
This is an event that should not be missed. Please mark your calenders, spread the word, and look for more details next week.
Warm regards,
Roger
