Cycling enthusiasts at Boloco support Ride on Washington
Boston, MA — Boloco is getting in the saddle (figuratively) and hitting the road with the Airstream (literally) to support the upcoming Ride on Washington, a cycling event kicking off this Wednesday, April 23. Ride on Washington, an invitational bike ride aiming to raise $100,000 for PeopleForBikes.org, will begin in Boston on Wednesday, taking participants along the East Coast, and ultimately, will finish on Sunday in Washington D.C.
Boloco is no stranger to the cycling world, having sponsored other cycling events in the past including the Mayor’s Cup (Boston), Hub on Wheels (Boston) and the Prouty (Hanover, NH) with burritos and ‘Team Boloco,’ a group of Boloco guests and employees who love racing for a cause. When the team heard about Ride on Washington, they jumped at the chance to participate on both ends of the ride. Boloco will provide globally inspired mini burritos at the pre-ride celebration at the Harpoon Brewery and breakfast burritos at the ride’s kick-off breakfast in City Hall Plaza, and will host a post-ride reception at Boloco 19th Street location in D.C. Even better, the Boloco team will provide one of the support vehicles for the Ride on Washington using their newest Boloco Airstream…a real sight as it looks like a monstrous burrito on wheels (We’re not kidding).
Jenn Blazejewski, VP of Marketing for Boloco, fearless driver and lover of cycling and adventure, is ready to hit the road and document the Airstream 2.0’s maiden voyage across the East Coast. The Ride on Washington crew is ready to bid adieu to Boston, but not before two events chock-full of burritos. Full details on the events are below:
