Come Up With A Better Helmet Safety Campaign, Win Prizes!!
Written by Boston Biker on Oct 26Sick of things like this:

Me too. I think we can do better.
Dust off those Photoshop skills and fire up that imagination engine, because its time to design A HELMET SAFETY CAMPAIGN!!! (that doesn’t suck)
Your task will be to make an image with a caption that encourages people to wear helmets, without scaring the shit out of them. And without making them think cycling is going to destroy their face.
You can make it sexy, funny, sexy and funny. You can use stock images, you can take your own pictures, draw, paint, use your imagination.
Submit your entries by emailing them to [email protected] Have your entries in by SATURDAY NOV 3rd. Please submit in .jpg .png or .gif formats.
I will then post them here for everyone to vote on.
The winner will get $20, a free cycling book, and a free custom head badge (a $60 value).
Second place will get a $10 and a free cycling book
Third place will get $5 and a free cycling book
If the winner is really good, maybe I will print it out really big and “leave it somewhere” that people can see while they ride their bike to work…
What: Contest to make a better helmet safety campaign, make a picture with a caption that supports helmet use, but doesn’t scare people from cycling:
When: Entries due by Satuday Nov 3rd.
How: Submit your entries to [email protected] in .jpg .png or .gif format
Good luck! I can’t wait to see what you all come up with!
