Race Routes In Boston?

Written by Boston Biker on Nov 28

Got this in the email a couple of days ago, anyone know a good race route in Boston? If you do contact Olivia at [email protected]

———-

Hello,

My name is Olivia Miller and I work for General Catalyst Partners under general manager David Fialkow. This spring I am organizing a bike race for him to benefit the Joey Fund http://www.joeyfund.org/, and help to raise money for cystic fibrosis. He would like to race around the Boston area doing a loop of about 30 miles. I’ve been on map my ride, and google maps. I don’t trust Google maps, and map my ride does not give turn by turn directions, nor does it let you see the map in full for free. I’m looking for some good local cycling advice. If you have any advice on some tried and true well mapped out routes around 30 miles in the Boston area, I would be forever grateful.

Billy Starr from PMC is a friend of David’s and will be riding as well as Cam Neeley from the Bruins Foundation.

7pm this Sunday night at Middlesex, 315 Massachusetts Ave. – THIS IS NOT 21 PLUS!!
Pan Mass Challenge / The Jimmy Fund / Chandler Delinks Fundraiser / OpenBicycle

Please do not let the suggested donations scare you away – showing up and giving nothing is better than not showing up at all.
There is a suggested, yes suggested, donation of $20 at the door and a hopeful donation of $10 for those who want to race – none of this is mandatory – but all for a great cause. We will also be placing bets on roller racing matches, aka Dirty Betting, to help raise money for the PMC and Jimmy Fund – promised to be a great time!
