I got a good chuckle from this music video, it’s not the catchiest tune but it’s all in good humor:

Bostonist Apologizes…Sorta

Posted July 3rd, 2009 by Boston Biker

I was happy to see that my little blog post made someone over at Bostonist perk up and pay attention.

They agree with me that everyone seems to be breaking the laws, and on a fairly regular basis. So now what are we going to do about it? I suggest that we all start chaning our own behavior first, and worrying about what “they” are doing after we clean up our own house.

Remember red lights are great places to practice your track stands, love interests adore track stands…it’s science.

Lisfranc injury – occupational hazard?

Posted April 16th, 2009 by huffypuffy

Unclear what’s going to destroy me first: cycling or studying.

Lisfranc injury occurs when a bicyclist’s foot is caught in the pedal clips …  It causes fracture or dislocation at the tarsometatarsal (Lisfranc) joint.” – High Yield Gross Anatomy

Fixie kids – how common is this?

BTW:  this is only slightly less cool than:
“Calcaneal (lover) fracture occurs when a person jumps from a great height (e.g., a second story window).  I usually involves the subtalar joint and is associated with fractures of the lumbar vertebrae and the neck of the femur.”
