You may have heard about the City’s Go Boston 2030 initiative. Last fall, Bostonians shared thousands of ideas about transportation and mobility and those ideas have been compiled into a set of four possible transportation futures. Now Go Boston is asking you to vote on which ones should be incorporated into the City’s 2030 transportation Action Plan. You can fill out the ballot online until June 17th.

Go Boston 2030 is committed to creating a climate-responsive transportation future for our city, and its goals include preparing for sea level rise along Boston’s coastline, reducing greenhouse gas emissions from transportation by 25 percent, and adopting an emissions-free municipal vehicle fleet — all of which make it important for the Greenovate community to weigh in!

This is a great opportunity to help choose the direction of Boston’s transportation planning – but the deadline is June 17th!
So click below to make your voice heard:

Go Boston 2030 will incorporate the results into an Action Plan this September. Just like Greenovate relied on you to help shape the City’s updated Climate Action Plan, Go Boston 2030 needs your input to help shape the direction of transportation in our city.

You can also join the Go Boston 2030 Opinion Leader Conversation on June 6th at the Boston Society of Architects. Hear from Mike Lydon, Rep. Russell Holmes, Kate Fichter, and Jascha Franklin-Hodge as they discuss the four futures: Go Local, Go Crosstown, Go Regional, and Go Tech.

As always, we’ll keep you up-to-date and share additional opportunities to get involved. Greenovate is all about community engagement – and this is a great way to dive right in!

Greenovate Boston Program Manager

P.S.:  You can also fill out a physical ballot and mail or deliver it to Go Boston 2030, 1 City Hall Plaza, Room 721, Boston MA 02201. Call 617-635-4680 to request a paper ballot in the mail.
