Bicycle Film Fest 2010 (With Boston Area Handbuilt Bike Show!)

Written by Boston Biker on Sep 09

The Bicycle Film Fest is back, and is once again stopping off in Boston.

From here. <-- Click for more info.

23-25 September this year, folks.

Decent weather for the 10th anniversary is expected; get ready for some lovely fall riding to the screenings at the Brattle (2 nights this year), an awesome art show / first-ever Boston Area Handbuilt Bicycle Exhibition at the Fourth Wall Project, a couple of bike-peeps afterparties (Savant Project and somewhere TBA) and a surely awesome alleycat ala Croth.

The films this year are diverse, exciting, funny, tear-jerking, riot-inducing, controversial, and so much more. We caught most of them in NYC and Montreal- there’s plenty of racing, ‘cross, BMX, polo, FGFS, art, and unclassifiable flicks… I can’t wait to see them again. The new Lucas Brunelle / Benny Zenga joint, Line of Sight, is particularly action-packed and offers some deep insight into our very own homegrown alleycat auteur.

Also, we need volunteers. Email me: joshua AT openbicycle DOT com. Do it.

Questions on what’s happening? Stay tuned and/or mail me.

Written by Boston Biker on May 31

A beautiful day (aside from the smoke from those Canadian forest fires) for a Tweed ride!

We rode around town in fine style.
