Bike Weekend Events In The Dot

Saturday July 14th 9 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. 3rd Annual Roslindale Farmer’s Market Bike Day - Join the 3rd annual Bike day at the Roslindale Farmer’s Market in Adams Park in Roslindale with many bike related vendors and free valet bike parking!
Saturday July 14th 10 a.m – 2 p.m. Kite, Bike and Frisbee Festival at Ronan park - Come and enjoy the outdoors at one of Dorchester’s hidden gems – Ronan Park – for the Kite, Bike and Frisbee Festival. Join your community in celebrating many ways to enjoy the outdoors and Boston’s public parks with a backdrop of incredible views of Boston Harbor and the Islands. Bring a picnic, fly a kite, throw a frisbee, learn to ride a bike, play at the playground. There is something here for everyone! Family friendly event not to be missed! Free hot dogs while supplies last, first 30 kids get a free kite, bring your bike and helmet!
Saturday July 14th 10 a.m – noon Pedal Through Boston Urban Wilds - Join BNAN staff and avid cyclist Jessica Mink for a guided tour of Jamaica Plain and Roslindale’s most notable and cherished Urban Wilds. Beginner and intermediate level bikers welcome! Bring your personal bike and helmet. Advance registration required by contacting 617-542-7696or info AT bostonnatural DOT org. Meet at Nira Rock Nira Ave and Day Street, Jamaica Plain
Sunday July 15th 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Circle the City Car-Free Corridor between Franklin Park and Jamaica Pond - Lot’s of great events associated with this event which will include street closures so you can ride between Franklin Park and Jamaica Pond Car Free! see our site and http://www.emeraldnecklace.
Sunday July 15th 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Circle the City Bike Tour of Dorchester and Roxbury with Jessica Mink and the Boston Cyclists Union starting on the Southwest Corridor at Green Street (Please arrive 10 minutes before departure). Be prepared to ride on city streets with traffic. The ride will mainly use streets with low traffic and/or bike lanes and finish up on the Southwest Corridor.
