A video by Sarah Gay
A promotional film I made for Bikes Not Bombs, a Boston, MA based non-profit organization dedicated to using the bicycle as a vehicle to create social change.
Each year, Bikes Not Bombs takes in 6,000 donated bicycles, and re-uses them in
local and global programs that provide skill development, jobs, and
sustainable transportation. Bikes Not Bombs was founded 28 years ago,
and since then, have shipped near 50,000 bicycles to projects in 14
countries, and over 3,000 teenagers have graduated from their bike
mechanics and cycling programs in the Greater Boston area. To find out
more about their work, how to donate a bike, become a volunteer, or make
a financial contribution, visit bikesnotbombs.org.
