It is really awesome – a photographer’s dream aside from everything else. Also great for little kids who like trains – great view of trains coming in and out of North Station. (the gates were down on July 4th)

Cool bridge, a bit terrifying to get to but cycling is getting easier for those that are in need of a push.

The best way to reach the Cambridge side is from East Street, off Lechmere Square: http://goo.gl/maps/JTYP
The Charlestown side is easily reached from the Navy Yard, Warren Street, or the Charles River Dam.
