Maybe it’s a little more comfortable and a little faster since the weight transfer comes from pushing your back against the seat.
This is awesome, I’ve always wanted to build one of these, but probably the way other DIYers do it, with a BMX wheel up in front. Stopping at lights must be really annoying with this one.

the best part in my opinion is the 4 foot chain run that goes directly to the back wheel…pure awesome.

I can imagine that chain being deadly to the rider in the event of a mishap.
