Boston Roadster Preservation Society
Written by Boston Biker on Jan 20Got this in the mail, looks fun. Reminds me of the Boston Three Speed club, perhaps they can form rival gangs and have sweet oldy timey gang wars, with top hats and monocles…I digress.

Roadster Preservation Society
The Roadster Preservation Society (working title) welcomes owners of vintage roadsters and 3-speeds from the Boston area. Our goal is to help people learn about vintage Roadsters, including how to repair them, restore them, or convert them to reliable modern commuters. We are also interested in photo-documenting vintage Roadsters in the Boston area, with the aim of putting together an online archive. We have been generously granted a “club space” for our pursuits at Open Bicycle, which is located in Union Square in Somerville. For more information please see here.

Thank you for featuring this. I am all for good old-fashioned gang wars with top hats an monocles, but just want to point out that we are not in competition with the Boston 3-Speed Club. Our goal is to share knowledge about restoring bikes, whereas the 3-Speed Club’s focus is mostly on organising group rides and other social events. If anything, the two complement each other. You should join both!
