Impacts of war: Political, Social, and Economic Consequences

Roxbury Community College, main Stage, Media Arts Building

Noam Chomsky is a professor of linguistics at MIT and perhaps the world’s best-known critic of American foreign policy, having published over 50 books on political topics since 1969. This event will feature live American shape note and Bulgarian village harmonies by a Brass Quintet and a slide show by Carl Kurz, founder of Bikes Not Bombs, as an illustrated history of BNB’s beginnings in war-torn Nicaragua and an overview of its international and youth work today. BNB is pleased to include this event as one of thousands around the world as part of a Global Day of Action.

Suggested Donation $15-$50 (student/low-income $7)
